Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and ¼ cup of warm water. Whisk together until smooth and frothy.
  2. If making homemade strawberry syrup, combine fresh strawberries, sugar, and a splash of water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until thickened. Strain if necessary.
  3. Divide 8 ounces of chilled seltzer water between two cups with the syrups and fill with ice.
  4. Gently pour the matcha mixture over the fizzy strawberry soda in each cup. Stir lightly.
  5. Optional: Drizzle extra strawberry syrup on top and serve immediately.
