Step-by-Step Instructions for Tanghulu
  1. Wash and dry the selected fruits thoroughly, ensuring they are clean and dry.
  2. Thread the fruit onto bamboo skewers without overcrowding.
  3. Combine sugar and water in a pot and heat over medium until it reaches 275°F for soft crack stage, then 300°F for hard crack stage.
  4. Dip each skewer of fruit into the hot candy syrup quickly and let excess drip off.
  5. Transfer dipped skewers to a parchment-lined surface to cool.
  6. Once cooled, serve the tanghulu immediately.
