Method
 

Instructions for Halloween Cheeseboard with Creepy Crackers
  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan/gas mark 7). Prepare your baking sheet and parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil and water. Add flour, sea salt flakes, golden caster sugar, black sesame seeds, and black food coloring. Mix until a rough dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and roll out to the thickness of a £1 coin.
  4. Slice the rolled dough into skinny strips to create the cracker shape.
  5. Brush strips lightly with water, sprinkle with sea salt and black sesame seeds. Prick with a fork for texture.
  6. Transfer crackers to the baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until firm and slightly golden.
  7. Once baked, cool crackers on a wire rack. Gather cheeses, figs, and garnishes.
  8. Assemble your cheeseboard with cheeses, figs, grapes, celery, and arrange crackers for serving.
