Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook diced chicken for 5–7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Then, add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Return cooked chicken to skillet. Add frozen mixed vegetables, chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the mixture simmers and thickens.
  5. Roll out puff pastry to cover your skillet. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  6. Brush the puff pastry with beaten egg for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  8. Let the pot pie cool for a few minutes before serving directly from the skillet.
