Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1-2 finely minced jalapeños, and 1 minced garlic clove. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add 1 pound of ground turkey, 1/4 cup of almond flour, 1/4 cup of minced onion, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of cumin. Gently blend the ingredients until just combined.
  3. Shape the turkey mixture into patties about 1/2 inch thick and fill with cheese mixture if using a burger press.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F to 400°F, and brush with olive oil.
  5. Grill the patties for about 7-8 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the burgers from the grill, let them rest for a couple of minutes, then top with crispy bacon and serve on lettuce wraps.
