Cooking Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each sourdough slice.
- Melt 1 teaspoon of unsalted butter in the skillet, then place one slice of bread in, mayo-side down, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Aged Cheddar and Gruyère cheese on top, then cover with the second slice of bread, mayo-side up.
- Flip the sandwich after 3-4 minutes, adding another teaspoon of butter and cooking until golden brown.
- Press down with a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from skillet, let rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve.
