Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Heat in the microwave at medium power for 20 seconds, stirring well between intervals until the chocolate is completely smooth and glossy. This should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Once the chocolate has melted, pour in the entire can of sweetened condensed milk. Stir vigorously with a spatula until fully combined, creating a thick, smooth mixture.
- Transfer the chocolate mixture to the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
- While the mixture chills, pulse the walnut pieces in a food processor until crumbly. Spread the ground walnuts on a plate.
- After chilling, use a 1 oz cookie scoop or your hands to portion out the chocolate mixture into smooth balls.
- Roll each truffle in the prepared walnut crumbs, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
