Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine equal parts brown sugar and water. Heat over medium-low until it reaches a gentle simmer, whisking occasionally. Keep an eye on it for about 5 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly. Once ready, remove from heat and let cool.
- Brew two shots of espresso using your espresso machine or a stovetop moka pot. Pour the warm espresso into a cocktail shaker.
- Add the cooled brown sugar syrup to the shaker containing your espresso. Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 1 minute.
- To chill the drink, add ice to the shaker. Secure the lid, and shake again for an additional minute.
- Fill two glasses halfway with ice cubes. Pour the foamy espresso mixture evenly into both glasses. Top each glass with your choice of milk and sprinkle ground cinnamon before enjoying!

Notes
Shake with a good purpose for frothiness. Store leftover syrup in the fridge for up to a month.
