Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with colorful cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Blend until smooth.
- Add green food coloring to the batter and stir until the desired color is achieved.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, mix green food coloring into the white frosting and generously frost each cupcake.
- Add red candy hearts or M&M's for faces and chocolate chips or mini marshmallows for adorable eyes.
