- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a sheet pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cubed chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, and chili flakes. Add flour and toss to coat.
- Spread seasoned chicken on one side of the pan. Toss broccoli florets with remaining melted butter, salt, and pepper, and arrange on the other side. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
- While baking, mix tamari, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
- Once chicken is cooked, remove broccoli from the oven. Pour sauce over chicken and toss to coat. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion, and serve hot, optionally over rice.
