Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a sheet pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cubed chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, and chili flakes. Add flour and toss to coat.
  3. Spread seasoned chicken on one side of the pan. Toss broccoli florets with remaining melted butter, salt, and pepper, and arrange on the other side. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  4. While baking, mix tamari, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
  5. Once chicken is cooked, remove broccoli from the oven. Pour sauce over chicken and toss to coat. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion, and serve hot, optionally over rice.
