Step-by-Step Instructions for Broccoli Quiche
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your pie dough and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Blind bake it for about 13 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Heat a splash of extra-virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped broccoli florets and sauté for around 4 minutes. Then add green onions and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until smooth. Add salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, blending until evenly dispersed.
  4. Layer the sautéed broccoli and green onion mixture evenly in the crust. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese, then pour in the egg mixture. Top with remaining cheese and parmesan.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes until set. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
