Preparation Steps
- Press Tofu: Remove excess moisture from tofu by placing it between towels and adding a weight on top for 30 minutes.
- Marinate Tofu: Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. After pressing, cut tofu and toss in marinade for at least 20 minutes.
- Prepare Cooking Method: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Coat Tofu: If using, beat egg for wash, dip tofu and coat with sesame seeds.
- Cook Tofu: Air fry for 10 minutes or bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Make Sriracha Mayo: Combine mayonnaise and Sriracha for dipping sauce.
- Serve Deliciously: Plate tofu with rice and veggies, drizzled with extra tamari and serve with Sriracha mayo.
