  • 6 oz Crab Meat can use imitation
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce low-sodium optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 0.5 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce optional for tangy kick
Wrappers
  • 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers or rice paper
For Frying
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend until creamy.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers, place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each, moisten edges with water, fold and seal tightly.
  3. In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Test readiness with a small piece of wonton.
  4. Carefully lower filled Crab Rangoon into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
