  • 1 each Navel Orange zest and juice for flavor
  • 4 each Cloves whole for infusion, can be omitted
  • 1 stick Cinnamon Stick or ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt Diamond Crystal preferred
  • to taste Freshly Ground Pepper adjust based on preference

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by zesting a navel orange to create two long strips, then pierce each strip with whole cloves for extra flavor infusion. Squeeze the orange to extract about ¼ cup of juice.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix together the infused orange zest and juice, along with the cranberry sauce, cinnamon stick, kosher salt, and freshly ground pepper. Stir over medium heat.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with cheese, crackers, or other pairings.
