  • 1 cup pumpkin puree fresh or canned
  • cup maple syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • ¼ cup brown sugar to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
For the Topping
  • 1 cup flour gluten-free if needed
  • cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cold butter cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup chopped pecans toasted if desired

Method
 

Filling Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Topping Preparation
  1. In another bowl, whisk together flour and brown sugar. Add cold butter and blend until coarse crumbs form. Fold in chopped pecans.
Cobbler Assembly
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish and pour the pumpkin filling. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the filling.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45 minutes until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
Cooling and Serving
