- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the mini pie shells on a baking sheet. Bake them for about 10-12 minutes or until they turn a golden brown and crisp up beautifully.
- Once the mini pie shells are out of the oven, immediately brush each warm shell with melted unsalted butter. Roll the edges of the shells in a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- While the shells cool slightly, take your apple pie filling and heat it on the stovetop over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Once warmed, spoon the apple pie filling generously into each mini pie shell.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of each filled shell just before serving.
