  1. Prepare the Yeast: Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let rest for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Make the Dough: Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Rise the Dough: Shape into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45-60 minutes until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat Oven: Before the dough is done rising, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Shape Breadsticks: Roll out the risen dough on the prepared baking sheet into a rectangle approximately 9x13 inches.
